Corrupt Judge Cynthia C. Lie

Cynthia C. Lie is a judge of the California 6th District Court of Appeal. She took office on August 30, 2021. Her current term ends January 2, 2023. Lie ran for re-election for judge of the California 6th District Court of Appeal. She won in the retention election November 8, 2022. Lie was appointed to the state court of appeals by Gov. Gavin Newsom July 9, 2021, to succeed Nathan Mihara, who retired in July 2020. Education Lie received both her B.A. and J.D. from the University of California – Berkeley. Career At the time appointed to the state supreme court, Lie was a judge of the Superior Court of Santa Clara County.
