William F. Jung is a judge on the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He was nominated to the court by President Donald Trump December 21, 2017, and confirmed by U.S. Senate on September 6, 2018, by a vote. William F. Jung was nominated to the same federal judicial post in April 2016 by President Barack Obama (D). January 3, 2017, William F. Jung’s nomination was returned to President Obama at the sine die adjournment of the 114th Congress.
