KEY Date Review
2/18/19 She charges excessive fees and did not do what we asked her to do. She wastes your time while your paying, to tell stories that aren’t even relevant to your case. We paid thousands of dollars and she did nothing for the case that we couldn’t have gotten ourselves. RID: 208572
7/10/16 She was very rude to me. People in these situations need support and expertise – not to be belittled. RID: 171541
6/18/13 Very rude, acted like I was a waste of her time. Hired my own private investigator and handed her the case. She truly did not seem to have any interest in my case. Fees were excessive to say the least. RID: 116349
9/30/09 Rude, no patience. Fees seem to be paramount consideration RID: 22688
9/2/08 Rude and expensive. Tried to talk to her about setting up meeting and she wanted $ 200 so I could interview her. Do not waste time! RID: 12017
4/26/07 Consistently failed to communicate with me in a timely fashion. Often rude, even in public. Refused to accept responsibility for mistakes in strategy. Very expensive and very poor service. Hiring her was the one of the worst mistakes I’ve ever made. I wish I had fired her after the first week. RID: 3703

Linda Whalen is the worst attorney for family court (divorce) I’ve ever experienced. I can’t provide feedback on the rest of the practice but she did not have my best interest in mind. She took advantage of my vulnerability and quickly lost my trust. My ex had an affair and still got exclusive possession of my home. I was the bread winner and the head of household. What I heard from other attorneys was “this a Slam dunk”. I went with her based on her “understanding” and confidence in my case. She shows compassion and caring when you first meet her. Saying she would “do the b**** slapping for me”, which was to expected considering how easy of a case this is. All of a sudden I’m nearly 5 figures deep into her and all she did for me was an address change, everything else she lost. Linda Whalen actually misread an email and charged me for her own mistakes while correcting them. And don’t question invoices either, because she’ll invoice you to answer ????. I am going elsewhere. ~Honest feedback from a real life client of hers.
